Soruka bags are hand crafted using leather that would otherwise go to landfill. The result is a beautiful one-of-a kind piece made with the best quality leather which is also environmentally friendly. All the bags are made in India by small, independent artisans from rural communities, and Soruka work closely with them to help grow their business and production capabilities. Each artisan is over the age of 18 and receives beyond the fair-trade wage.

The use of scrap and left over leather means it is impossible to make two identical bags, which of course makes each bag unique! Every colour combination will always be different which may mean that there can be slight imperfections and variations in texture and colour.
